Named Soquel High Head Football Coach in 2018 becoming the sixth head coach in school history.
Lowery, 38, is entering his eighth season leading the Knights. In the span of seven seasons, Soquel football has compiled a 54-21 record while completing many milestones in the process.
The Knights achieved a league promotion in 2019, followed by a 1-4 shortened pandemic season. The 2022 season they won the PCAL-Mission League Championship and received another league promotion. The 2023 season, the program captured its first ever CIF-CCS, CIF-Regional and CIF-State Championships. The Knights followed that up with a PCAL-Gabilan league championship and first ever appearance in CCS Division 1 playoffs.
COLLEGIATE HONORS
A two time All-American Football Player & San Jose State Sports Hall of Famer, Lowery lead the nation in interceptions in 2006 and is the first player in San Jose State University history to be named All-American in back to back years.
NFL
Lowery was a 9 year veteran that was drafted in the 4th round of 2008 NFL Draft. Played for the New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, and San Diego Chargers.
PERSONAL
Lowery is husband to Ashley Lowery and father of two daughters, Amani and Giavanna Lowery.
